Curious. My last blog is about “Body Worlds”, and now I am going to move to a flat just around the corner of Brick Lane on Commercial Road! Yeah folks! Edward's on the move again. Found some nice flatmates and a very cool area to live, now even closer to work... Thinking of getting a bike at last!

To most of you, I have already sent out an e-mail to inform you of my move. If you haven't received an e-mail, drop me a line through my website... Gonna do some more packing now. There's just so much stuff you collect in only two year's time!  permanent link for this entry

After my brother saw the exhibition in Berlin and my parents in Brussels, it was my turn on Sunday to see it here in London: “Body Worlds”. Was genuinely amazing! Took me a long time to realise what a spleen was... Very weird not to remember the Dutch words for all the organs sometimes, but finally I got it: “milt”.  permanent link for this entry

OK, you may hardly notice anything (at least that's what I hope), but I am taking my website to a new level of professionalism. All error messages are integrated with the website and held in their own directory. The same goes for all those files that are used in almost every page: the header, footer, and of course the stylesheets. This makes managing this website so much easier. I admit, you encounter the “404 - Document not found” message still too often, but I decided to invest a bit more time setting up this website, before actually re-opening it completely. So bear with me while I am working on it. The less time I shall have to spend on maintaining this, the more time I can devote to improve the contents once this is all over.  permanent link for this entry

SVG seems to be taken seriously more and more. Yet another company has committed itself to SVG mapping: Geonova has developed the Izimap product to create a complete cartographic web site, exploiting OpenSource technologies such as PHP and mySQL and internet standards (XML, SVG). IziMap Composer prepares the cartographic data for publication and IziMap Publisher provides the configuration and the automatic generation of the website.  permanent link for this entry
